The Freedom of Information Act 2000
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 has been in force for three years. The Constitution Unit, Ministry of Justice and Information Commissioner's Office invite you to explore the benefits and challenges of working with FOI and learn from others at the Sixth Annual Information Rights Conference for the Public Sector in the UK.
What is FOI Live 2008?
FOI Live gives delegates a unique chance to meet with a range of people involved and interested in information rights, including key figures from government and the Information Commissioner’s Office, as well as influential members of the international FOI community. During the day, delegates may choose from a range of parallel sessions including electronic communications, the public interest and the interface between Data Protection and Freedom of Information. There is also a special ‘FOI catch up’ session introducing new practioners to FOI. The day’s programme ends with a drinks reception where delegates can network and chat with the day’s speakers.
FOI Live 2008 is the freedom of information event of the year. Be sure to sign up!
